I make art, write, and explore ideas that sit at the intersection of awe and transformation. Whether I’m alone in the garden, deep in a drawing, or tending to the relationships that shape me, I try to return to what’s alive. I move between solitude and connection, structure and wildness, intuition and intellect.
Whether it’s through gouache, pencil, ink, or wax, I strive to reflect the beautiful details I perceive in the everyday world around me. I believe art is really about seeing and noticing all that often goes unnoticed or unappreciated. My journey is not just about creating art but about fostering a deeper connection with the natural world around us and encouraging others to appreciate the unnoticed details in the world we share.
I work mainly in watercolor, gouache and graphite but love the texture and preservation qualities of encaustic paint too. I hold a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. For recent shows, visit the exhibitions page.
